I agree. We always deep-fry, so I know the importance of knowing the fill. It’s an important step, and he needed to show it. But, it would have made much more sense to have that segment before preparing the bird.

In the video, Karl states the oil should be heated to 325* but the PDF says 275*. Wondering which is it?

And as for regulating the oil temp during frying, I am guessing I would adjust the burner output to hold the desired temp, yes? Sorry, zero experience with this but very curious. Thanks!

It’s 325. I need to correct the PDF.
