One of the sources we used while researching for that post was a&nbsp;fascinating&nbsp;book entitled&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0814727905\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=0814727905&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=stucosuccess-20\">The Gentlemen and the Roughs: Violence, Honor, and Manhood in the Union Army<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In today&#8217;s podcast, I talk to the author of that book, Dr. Lorien Foote.
