But one hazard that can befall the fisherman when he&#8217;s bringing in a line or untethering his catch is getting a hook stuck in his finger. If this happens to you, you can use one of the above techniques to get the hook out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The String Yank Technique can&#8217;t be performed on parts of the body that aren&#8217;t attached (e.g., earlobe, nostril). And if the hook is stuck in your eye, don&#8217;t try to remove it yourself with either of these methods! Go to the emergency room immediately.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Like this illustrated guide?
