Isn’t Sean Connery Scottish?
Aye, he is.
First time I’ve ever heard him with a different accent. Egyptian god, Russian submarine commander, James Bond, you name it: always a Scottish accent!
Although maybe this experience helped him get the part in Untouchables.
I’ve actually seen this movie (saw it with my girlfriend) and it was tolerable. Some funny moments. Apparently this was the role that set him up to play Bond.
Huh.
My family watches this movie every St. Patrick’s Day!
Connery’s great-grandparents emigrated to Scotland from Ireland in the mid 19th century
Great movie.
