Huckberry had been laying low after the holidays, recovering from the onslaught. But now they’ve gotten rolling once more, so it’s time to bring back the Huckberry Weekly Giveaway!

This week I’m digging the sturdy black nylon bags from Ignoble and the very nice field watches from Zurich’s Military Watch Company — a large supplier of watches for the American armed forces, police departments, and other government agencies.

I have wanted an automatic watch for years now, having first been bitten by the watch bug collecting WW2 era A-11′s. They are too fragile to be daily wearers, and the MWC-Mk III is a slightly more modern, but still classic watch, simple and elegant.
