My Picks This Week

Huckberry_500_1-24-13

This week I’m digging the sturdy black nylon bags from Ignoble and the very nice field watches from Zurich’s Military Watch Company — a large supplier of watches for the American armed forces, police departments, and other government agencies.

I’ve started drinking Scotch this last year and I’d like a nice set of glasses, so that’s what I’m looking at… the whiskey glasses… the chilling stones are interesting too. Dewar’s has a good commercial running lately.

1054 Michael V January 27, 2013 at 4:20 am

Close call between the Grandpa’s Pipe ManCan and the MWC-Mk III Automatic 100m, but I’ve got to go with the watch. In much more dire a need of a good timepiece than a candle.

1055 Mysfyt January 27, 2013 at 4:47 am

It’s nice to find a website that has rolling deals on cool and interesting gear that I’d like to own.

MWC-21 300M SUBMARINER

1056 Niko January 27, 2013 at 5:21 am

Hello,
My choice is MWC-MK III AUTOMATIC 100M. It is a very nice casual watch with timless look.

Last week I heard in radio a very interesting discussion and the topic was: “Who is a human being?”
Then I noted that you try to answer this question by “The Art of Manliness”. That is why I like your articles, I guess. Well done. I appreciate that.

PS.While my english is not even a bit close that it should be, I really hope you moderate all comments.

1057 Rafa January 27, 2013 at 5:37 am

I’m interested in the MWC Mk III Automatic watch. This summer we’re going to do more outdoor activities. The long term goal now is to take the family on an expedition to the Arctic Circle in 2015 and I’m slowly building my kit of simple and reliable equipment. The MWC Mk III Automatic fills a niche on that list nicely. Thanks.

1090 Brent January 27, 2013 at 10:05 am

I’ve been in the market for a good quality watch for a long time now and have been reluctant to buy one for fear of getting something regretable of poor quality. Plus, with a newborn, a new watch is the last my wife would approve of. The MWC-21 300m Submariner is right up my alley.

1091 Philip Tenenzaph January 27, 2013 at 10:07 am

I could definitely use one of the Hair on your Chest Flasks.
