The Prize

The VertDesk is an electric adjustable height desk. That’s right, with the simple push of a button, you can move your work station up or down. It’s a 30″ x 36″ model, available with either a cherry or hardrock maple top color (winner gets to choose). The motor can lift up to 200 lbs, and it adjusts from 28″ high to 46.5″. One added benefit is I would be able to raise my desk up out of the reach of my 1 and 4 year old, who have already caused me to have to purchase two new keyboards from them reaching up and pulling them off the desk!!

His solution is to have a standing work station to help with this issue. Not to create a sob story, but he’s also going through a divorce and he’s strapped for cash. It’s a tough call but either way it would be a great replacement and aid me in improving my physical health.

I would love to have a desk that (even when standing) could be an appropriate height and help alleviate my chronic back pain so i can spend more quality time chasing after my new son. I’m a CPA coming up on tax season, so with the long hours I’ll be putting in over the next few months, I’ll probably get more use out of it than anyone else here. Fingers Crossed.
