The winner of the last giveaway (2 weeks ago) was:
Jonathan Griffiths from Nampa, ID. Jonathan selected the Sound Platform Ghost.
Also, since I don’t have anywhere else to announce the winner that we randomly drew from the entries to last week’s iPad 2/Saddleback iPad Case giveaway that we ran to celebrate our new mobile site, here’s who went home with that sweet prize too:
Collin Driscoll from New Orleans, LA. Collin said he’d be reading AoM on his new iPad while at “the Barber’s; a great old shop here in New Orleans run by a man that enlisted in the Navy in WWII and retired from the Army after Korea and he’s still going strong. I would also use it when I am relaxing at my local Gentlemen’s club; no not a strip club but a proper Gentlemen’s club with large leather furniture, wall to wall wood, old books, cigars and whiskey. Many articles of AoM parallel what is going on in those places already , but it never hurts to have more topics for further discussion.”
Congrats guys! Enjoy your new tech.
My Picks This Week

Huckberry’s got a monster offering this week — I couldn’t even fit all the cool stuff in one image this week. There are Baffin boots perfect for the coming cold and slushy weather. From Wenger, there are tents, sleeping bags, and Swiss Army knives (which includes a $1k “Giant knife” with 87, yes 87, different implements, which isn’t at all practical, but is fun to look, whistle, and chuckle at). There are some really nice prints of mountains and trails, that would be perfect for the man who’s scaled or hiked them, or one day dreams to. I also love the Stormy Kromer hats, even if they’re not quite as cool as my Woodsman’s hat. But to me the crown jewel this week is Stormy Kromer’s wool, Made in USA, Mackinaw coat. Makes me want to get out and chop down a Christmas tree.

I wish I could have the SVT-AX87..

The Freeman Grey Rain Jacket would be a great piece to add to any gentleman’s wardrobe. The fact that they are handmade in Seattle is almost as appealing as the stylish coat.
Loving the Tsovet QS40 watch!
The Kelly Kettle is bad ass!
I’m thinking that the other guys in deer camp would be pretty jealous when I show up with a new large Kelly Kettle!
SVT-QS40
The Kelly Kettle Kit looks pretty amazing! I would love to take a trip in the woods this fall with that kit, cook up some camp chili, and wash it down with a freshly brewed cup of tea.

Sunpocket tonga tortoise folding glasses. Gotta get my Steve McQueen on….. well sort of. Thanks for the great website.
The Lawson Black Buckle Unlimited is a handsome thing.
Really like that Stormy Kromer’s wool coat!
I think the SVT-FW44 could finally get me to wear a watch again. As all of my watch batteries have died, I’ve found myself not bothering to replace them, since I carry a cell anyways.
GIANT KNIFE by Wenger!

J. L. Lawson & Co. – OG II
Marksman by Baffin 9.5 (please and thank you)
The Marksman Boot from Baffin would be perfect for some winter camping! My wife has never been camping and we’ve run out of summer. She isn’t opposed to camping in the cold (she is from Chicago). We’ve got the tent and the mummy bags for warmth. I just don’t have any decent rugged boots built for winter camping.

The SVT-AT76 looks awesome!
The Duffaluffagus (black)…of course!
Wenger knife. Thanks.
Whether hunting, camping or fishing, when it comes to long days (and nights) in the great outdoors, a man’s only as good as his boots. And a new pair of Baffin Marksmans are just what I’ve been needing!!
Since winter has already come in Sweden (snow today), slush is inbound. I’m in need of a sturdy pair of rugged boots worthy of the challenge, and I think the Range (Brown) would live up to the challenge!
Mackinaw coat!!! That coat is freaking sweet!!!
Wabi Nabi please!
That TSOVET SVT-NM85 is a nice looking time piece. I’ve been meaning to get a good looking watch and that one is definitely a looker.

I could use a new sleeping bag. The Rigi Regular looks like it would be an awesome bag!

The Freeman Rain Jacket (Grey, size 38) please!! Thank You!!
The Poler Duffaluffagus( Black) would be awesome, Im 19 and am just starting to get into camping and exploring the wilderness. I am in desperate need of a nice duffle bag to take with me on all of my future manly adventures.
That Tsovet SVT-AX87 is probably one of the sharpest watches I’ve ever seen. I’d love too add a nice watch to the wardrobe.
