Loved the article, and considering the space limitations, I think it well-done, with examples of artwork that illustrate the main ideas of the Romantic movement that highlight emotion. Sure, there's a lot more that could have been said, but you can't cram a whole Art History text chapter into these posts. After reading this article, a man could make a few cogent remarks at a cocktail party, and maybe even comment about Romantic elements in modern art, whether it be painting, literature or the cinema, with a little careful thought. If that is the final measure, this was very useful.

Of course the article could be expanded to include European (particularly English) Romanticism, and the Dark Romantics, i.e., the Gothic writers, such as Edgar Allan Poe in America and say, Mary Shelly (author of Frankenstein) in England, but those are small complaints when one considers how well the space was used overall.
