I read a book about Houdini a few years back and it was inspiration at every turn of the page. He had focus, dedication and somehow seemed to be able to get 30 hours out of the day. Great blog post!

Man!! This is invigorating, this mans words come alive like a primordial howl from the ether… – as a timeless spirit i knew this man, was his student, and once spent a week in a breadbox floating down the Misssissippi while failing to escape like the master…I was eventually rescued, and though i could not follow in this mans steps… I still find inspiration from him…

Actually, Houdini was the second most famous entertainer of his time. William F.”Buffalo Bill” Cody was the most famous.

I always thought it was manly of Houdini to enter the offices of the Houdina radio company and smash up their furniture. He thought they were trying to rip him off by stealing his name for their company. It turns out that they weren’t.

Houdini is one of my largest inspirations, and I’ve taught myself everything I believe to be relevant in the art of escape. I’ve even built my own water torture cell. I am seventeen, and right now have a set of Krieg police issue hand cuffs I’m working out a way to escape from. =) So yes, I am following in the footsteps of the greatest showman to ever live.
