This is by far my favorite: http://www.tankfarmclothing.com/product/aom-tee-1002.cfm?c=BLK&did=0
I like the black Gentleman and Scholar shirt.
Since AoM has written all those great articles about writing letters (can you do another one soon?) a variation of this shirt design would be great: http://www.redbubble.com/people/najeroux/t-shirts/1473475-20-modernity-is-so-boring
I like the Gentleman & Scholar design; it encourages manliness without excess attitude.
I prefer the “Keep ‘em Flying” design but you should release another set based off of the old men’s magazines you did an article on. The “Weasles Ripped My Flesh” sort.
I like the Gentleman and Scholar design, as well as the Hustle design.
i can’t choose which shirt is best, it’s like asking which kid you love the best! Just can’t be done!!!
I’m really liking the new Hustle T-shirt. I’m usually a fan of very plain or minimalist t-shirts, but I think I’ll have to buy that one if I don’t win the contest.
I prefer the Victory shirt. I like to wear shirts and hats with the self-branding “V” on them.
I love them all, but I think my favorite has to be the “Gentleman & Scholar” (black).
I really like the “Keep it flying” design. My dad’s a pilot and we’ve both been keenly interested in old warbirds–especially fighters–for a long time, so that design strikes a chord with me.
Love the Let’s Go tee. There’s nothing like a tribute to the greatest generation and showing off the pride of being an American!
I like the Victory one the best. Not that the other 2 are bad, but if I have to pick one…I’d say the Victory shirt.
I have to say the rough riders t-shirt has to be my favorite. With gentleman & scholar coming in a close second. The new designs look pretty good and all are definite winners in my books.
Gentlemen’s boxing is the awesomer.
I love the bull moose shirt and the Victory one. Great designs!
Of the three, I have to go with “Keep it Flying”, light shirt, hot sun, RWB, it’s a winner. Hustle, as has been noted, is very 1984, it is #2. Thanks!
Hustle by far…reminds me of Atlas Shrugged.
“Gentleman & Scholar” in cardinal is my favorite, but all of them are good.
My favorite is “Gentlemand & Scholar,” but one I wouldn’t mind seeing is a bouron and cigar-themed shirt. We all have our vices.
I like the “gentleman and scholar” design best.
The Hustle one is pretty good. Maybe next time have a bunch of pictures of different mustaches and there accompaning names.
The Gentleman & Scholar is most definitely my favorite in design and copy, but Strong as Oak is a close second.
There are several good choices but my favorite would have to be the new design “The World Belongs to Those Who Hustle”. This shirt reminds me that in order to get what I want in life, I need to simply work for it the best I can and hustle, because it takes no talent to hustle.
Victory! It makes me feel like I win just because I am a man!
I like the Razor Sharp design, especially since AoM got me back into a real barber shop for the first time since I was a kid.
Hustle and “Let’s Go!” Have my bid! Perhaps a shirt with the old time barber pole!! Nothing more manly than the barbershop!
Hustle or the first logo. Also perhaps a shirt with the barbershop pole! Getting a hair cut from a barbershop is manly!!
The Hustle shirt is sweet!
There is no better expresion for a man…then ‘The world belongs to those who hustle’.
In a nut shell, this phrase can be used to save hundreds of hours usless motivational meetings…and focus one’s attention on getting things done!
They are all wonderful but the hustle is my favorite.
“the world belongs to those who hustle.” A strong image and a powerful logo. That is my vote.
It is a toss up for me between the new Hustle shirt, Rough Riders, Man Up or Gentelman Scholar.
I like the two based upon the World War II designs. The “Greatest Generation” who fought for freedom exemplifies what the Art of Manliness promotes.
I like the Victory one. I would prefer the Hustle one, except the guy looks odd.
I like the hustle shirt. I especially like the retro-wartime look. It is reflective of a time when our country was focused on unifying.
The new Hustle T-shirt for suuure. Thanks, dudes.
I like the Man Up one with the cycle on front.
The hustle tee is the best.
Gentleman’s Boxing Club has got to be my favourite.
It’s all about the “Hustle”.
I’m liking the ‘Hustle’.
The world belongs to those who hustle!! and man up!
I love the “Victory” design.
hey im not sure if my post went through
i like the hustle, and man up. but i def like the hustle.
that seems to be the winner
The hustle shirt is my favorite, because it’s true. Cynics make good movie characters, but hustlers make good men.
The world belongs to those who hustle. A Great Shirt. I flagged this email post back on Feb. 7, 2010 and look back at it often when I need some inspiration to keep hustling. I am excited to see the theme carried on. What about a sticker too?
I love the “Man UP” design
I’m liking the Victory shirt the best of these 3
Victory shirt is the best!
reminds me of the daleks…
Lovin the Hustle.
I like the AOM Mens Brand Tee Navy. Simple, straightforward, manly.
I’m a big fan of the Hustle design. I love the iron worker on it.
I also think that a design of a Victorian playbill or poster would be excellent; a striking font with “Art of Manliness” written across the top and a picture of a Victorian man being…well…plain old manly.
I like the ‘man up’ one. To me, that says it all!!!
Razor Sharp, for sure. Hope I win.
Bull Moose in d white. Teddy is manliness.
They’re all great, but the Bull Moose in D White is my favorite.
I like the Hustle one!
As many have said already, they’re all pretty great designs, and while I’d normally be inclined to pick either the “Keep It Flying,” or “Victory,” designs, the “Hustle” shirt is really speaking to me right now – it’s a good motivational shirt, something I need right now (motivation, that is).
“The World Belongs To Those Who Hustle” means a lot to me…before I started my hustling and busting my butt, I was sitting in a ho-hum job that got me down all the time. I relocated to stay employed (stayed in the same company), and when I arrived it turns out I was hired to do a very obscure and difficult job that I knew nothing about…I had very minor experience with it YEARS ago, and this was a totally upgraded product.
Now?
Now, I kick ass and take names. Because I Hustled. Thank you, Men!
I Like the Teddy R, Rough Riders, But I really really dig the new one, Lets go AOM Keep it flying, With the eagle and the stars and stripes, right before 4th of July thats awesome!
Eagle one (1st one) for sure!
I still like the Gentleman’s Boxing Club shirt, but of the three new designs, I really like the Victory shirt.
Love them all, but the Hustle one is my favorite.
Just a comment, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who can’t wear t-shirts that aren’t made for tall guys. There is nothing manly about an exposed naval.
Going with the Hustle.
I would choose the “Man up” or “Rough Rider” t-shirts. I like em all though! Great way to get the word out about AOM…..
I like the first one. Very patriotic
The “V” victory is my favorite. Simplicity at its best.
The Hustle shirt really stands out. Frankly, with it’s large muscular red individual with a hammer, it reminds me of vintage soviet communist propaganda posters. I’m not a commie-pinko by any means, but admire them as art. And obviously this shirt’s message is individualistic, not collectivist. So yeah.
I’ll have to look at Tankfarm’s offerings to see if they have these designs in muscle shirts …. for those of us who are taking AoM’s advice about fitness.
I really like the Hustle design. It’s a mantra that I share with my work team members daily. However, I like the nostalic aspect of the other two as well.
It’s all about the HUSTLE!
The World Belongs to Those Who Hustle! A great design, a great message.. “Let’s Go A.O.M.” is a very close second.
What happened to the March contest/giveaway? Who won?
i’m voting for the hustle one
All three are cool, but I like the “hustle” shirt best followed by the “v” shirt.
I like the Hustle shirt the best. The message is strong, the graphics are great, and the art of manliness tagline is subdued. It would be neat to see this on the back of the shirt and a small graphic or message on the front chest pocket area or on the sleeve. That would kick the design up even further.
I’ve always been a fan of the “Gentleman & Scholar” shirt (in red), but I’ve already got that one. I’d want my next AoM shirt to be “Man Up!” with the old motorcycle on the front. That, or the Flying Eagle, which is cool, if a little cliche.
Definitely the first one!
I also like the Hustle shirt. My other favorite is the bull moose one.
For a good night on the town, Gentleman & Scholar is always a classy choice!
Hustle!
My favorite has always been the “Gentlemen’s Boxing Club” shirt because of the stance the boxer has in the picture… pure ass kicking awesomeness.
I’m liking the Rough Riders design!
Gentleman Scholar. That’s manly.
I really am partial to the New ‘Hustle’ design. I think it makes a good statement. As for a suggestion, I would like to see an idea in keeping with what I think AOM is about, which is making you a better man or remembering what it is to be a real man. A favorite saying of mine that I have had on motivational pictures is “Leadership is Action, Not Position”. I would think a similar adaptation for a AOM shirt could read similar to “Manliness is Action, not Genetics”. I for one have met many Men that only fit that classification loosely. Of course the graphic could be a number of things to go along with the statement.
Hustle for sure
My favorite is the ‘Hustle Shirt’.
I teach high school biology as well as coach cross country. I read the hustle article to ever class as well as my cross country team. I have the quote from Lincoln posted on my classroom wall.
One suggestion for a shirt would be incorporting Robert E. Lee’s definition of a Gentleman. Lee wrote a letter to his son, and in it he defines a gentleman. Very great letter and inspiration.
Liking the Hustle shirt. Conveys the message of the site and recent string of columns.
The navy AoM logo with the crossing pistols is my favorite. Very simple and clean design. Dig it.
I’m a fan of the Gentleman and Scholar shirt, and from the new ones, definitely the Hustle one.
I think its pretty safe to say the majority of readers prefer the hustle design, that was the first one that really jumped out at me. Even If I don’t win a free t-shirt I will definitely be buying that shirt. When I look at ithat shirt Im reminded of that famous quote by Abraham Lincoln, “Good things come to those who wait…but only the things left by those who hustle.” I love this website, and all the articles, I think if every man in the world read at least one article a week, they would rise up and become the real men we were all called to be and the world follows great men.
I definitely like the “gentleman and a scholar” shirt the best…. what it means to be a “man” is something worth studying and researching. “honor and class is impossible unless you know what is honorable and classy.” -Me
My favorite design is the ‘Gentleman and Scholar’ shirt. The font is bold and nostalgic, which reflects well on the spirit behind this website and community.
Out of the three new ones, I like the “Keep it flying” t-shirt, my favorite out of all of them is a tie between the “Gentleman & Scholar”, and the “Strong as Oak” shirts. They are all awesome though!
Looking at the selections, I have a hard time picking a favorite from about half of them. The one that grabbed me, though, was the “Man Up!” because I am partial to old motorcycles, and I use that phrase with a couple musician friends from church.
For new designs, I think classic bomber nose art is egregiously underrepresented.
Victory is my favorite of the new ones. Strong as Oak is my all-time Favorite.
I really like the hustle shirt, but the eagle one is really tight too.
My favorite is the “Hustle” shirt – great message.
The World Belongs to Those Who Hustle – that’s my favorite.
They’re all great designs. I’m definitely going to be getting one.
Boxing Club!
I like the HUSTLE design aside from the obvious communism influences. RED wording, RED Hammer.
