A great set of posts. I love the one about Rites of passage. That truly is a manly thing that has been lost in modern society. Great collection.

The Rites of Passage post has me thinking. Brett, I think it'd be great to see a post on the skills required of a man. Pick 5-7 (or more) things and don't make them too easy. A community challenge similar to the 30 Days to a Better Man but more challenging (most guys can pick up how to shine their shoes on the first try for example). It could incorporate different areas of importance; memorizing important historical events and battles (you could have a quiz for us to prove we've mastered it), physical feats we probably have to build up to, knowledge about cars or sports or clothes or drinks or whatever.

Sort of like an Art of Manliness basic skills course. I think it'd be a great tool, especially for those of us who are looking for a Rite of Passage sort of deal in a society sorely lacking in one. Just an idea.
