Nice article Ron. I agree with Moyer, anyone considering this insdustry should print a copy of this article and read it over and over again. I wish I knew 15 years ago, what I know now. You were by far the best supervisor I ever had. You look great with hair too!

I only know Ron Null from some of my social settings, not professionally. I do how ever believe he left out one critical piece of advice. A dry suit can leave a man lopsided.

I feel greatfull and fortunate for every day that I have the privilage to work with and learn from this individual. If anyone who reads this is contemplating a career in this field, he/she would do well to take what Ron has written here to heart. A good, sharp knife, a 12″ wrench, and – like the man said – a healthy dose of integrity and a good attitude can take one a long way in this business.

I was strongly recruited by the dive master that taught a diving class I took in high school. I seriously considered it, but decided to go get an engineering degree instead. Overall, I think I made the slightly better decision for me, but U/W construction still sounds like a decent way to make a living. Thanks for giving a great interview.
