As far as why a man should keep a journal: I actually watched “Meet John Doe” last night (now officially my favorite movie). The father of a family had passed away several years ago, but the mother had held onto his journal as something precious that kept him alive for her. His daughter used the ideas he wrote about in his journal as the basis for a fantastic speech that quickly turned into a nationwide movement.

Any way to express your thoughts is powerful and important.
